Yes that is me on the mountain, my name is Brittany.
I’m an endurance athlete.
I’m a strawberry-blonde.
I’m from the Yukon.
My favourite colour is green
.
I’m all kinds of crazy about sustainability.
Yeah, that kind of crazy.
And food. I’m crazy about food.
I run alot, so I have to eat alot. That’s why I like food. Especially real food. I like green vegetables, pretty coloured fruits, super duper grains, and all things in between.
I hope you do too, because you’ll be seeing a whole lot of mad crazy insanely awesome real food on this blog.
I’m also really big into being outside.
If my birth certificate didn’t say “Whitehorse General Hospital”, I would assert that I was born outdoors. I’m sure my mother wouldn’t dispute.
My mother also has another kid. That makes him my brother. It also makes him mad cool. We’ll call him M. M is 4 and 3/4s. You and M will be best friends by the end of this summer.
My dad has two other kids too. They are also boys. Yes they are adorable, and yes they are future womanizers. If you’re lucky, you’ll meet them one day :). They are world leaders in eyebrow expression.

I also do heaps of wildly entertaining things with my vivacious roommates in Ottawa. Our activities primarily involve baking, going to cute movies… and embarking on self indulgent photography walks with my pride and joy (Canon Rebel T2i).
I hope to share these things with you…
if you’ll have me.
During the summers I traipse around the Yukon with my homies like we’re Max and the Wild Things.
It’s fun.
You should try it.
I like to try things. I’m currently trying to play guitar. I heard this rad chick play last summer and I knew I had to give it a shot. As it stands, for your sake, I hope I don’t share my musical trials and tribulations with you. But who knows
I’m also going to try living on a different continent. For real.
Next winter I’m off to Paris.
Yes of course I’m still going to be in school, I’m not a drop-out you know.
Oh, and you’re coming with me. No questions asked.

“I’m not a drop-out you know.”
Good thing you said that, since I was definitely thinking you were a flunky.
You know, based on your horrible grammar and all.
